In case you missed it, Respawn Entertainment recently announced that they are undertaking three Star Wars titles, and you can read the details on it here. The last part is just a compilation of various animations for Boba Fett and the other characters in the cancelled game. Although a lot of the textures are clearly missing, the animations are very much on point and it pretty much feels like ‘Uncharted’ in space. The second one is much more action-packed, with Boba Fett caught up in a chase sequence. The first sees Boba Fett walking through an open market of sorts in Star Wars 1313, and the atmosphere really gives off a ‘seedy underbelly’ feel. Provided by creative director James Zachary and uploaded to YouTube by The Vault, the three minutes of footage is cut into three parts. "Decommissioned" Episode Guide on StarWars.Footage of the cancelled Star Wars 1313 Boba Fett gameplay has surfaced online, with the game picking up quite the attention once more! The footage sees Boba Fett in several sequences that showcase the game partially although incomplete, it looks amazing, and it really is a shame that the project has been put on hold indefinitely. You won’t notice loud commuters unless they’re speaking into a megaphone from two blocks away, nor will you be distracted by everyday sounds like iPhone timers and whisking cars. These buds are great at diminishing background hum and rumblings, while also keeping high-frequency noises to a minimum. Winner : Sony WF-1000XM4 Sony WF-1000XM4 vs Jabra Elite Active 75t: Active noise cancellation The good news is that both pairs of earbuds pick up vocals with precision and register commands as quick as they answer them. Siri can be accessed as well, but not the “Hey Siri” feature, which is exclusive to Apple wireless earbuds. The Sony WH-1000XM4 comes with Google Assistant and Alexa integration, so you can access either AI bot by speaking their action phrases (“Hey Google” or “Alexa”) or do so manually on the buds. For the Elite Active 75t, you need to manually enable Google Assistant or Siri, depending on the device you’re using. However, the WF-1000XM4 has two extra tricks that let you control playback: Quick Attention to drop volume down to 10 percent (long press the left bud) and Speak-to-Chat to pause music every time the buds recognize your voice.ĭigital assistance also comes part of each package, though the experiences are slightly different. On-ear detection is included on both products and works well to automatically pause music when removing the buds from your ears. A wireless charging version is also available and normally runs for $229, but you can snag it right now for $199 on Amazon (opens in new tab). To add HTML5 compatible video to your site, you need to prerare video files in three formats: MP4, WebM, OGG, as different browsers support different video qualities. HTML5 video player is an ideal solution if your website audience comes from different devices. Now let’s explore the most popular ways of video embedding, their pros, cons and what websites they suit best of all. HTML5 video is played equally well on PC, smartphone, and tablet. One definite advantage of HTML5 over HTML4 is the cross-plarform support. EMBEDDING A VIDEO IN SCREENSTEPS CODEAll you need to put a video to your website is a video file in the required format and a simple web player code like this one: This new standard brought the possibility to embed videos without any middleware, just via tag in the web page markup. Happily, everything changed with the advent of HTML5 in 2015. This way video embed code looked like in HTML4 coding: or tags with the reference to some middleware (like Flash Player or RealPlayer) were required. There existed only one web standard known as HTML4 which didin’t allow webmasters to embed videos directly onto web pages. In 2011 it was a real problem for a non-technically minded person to put video on site. It’s not associated with any particular middleware and can be streamed in the majority of desktop and mobile browsers. EMBEDDING A VIDEO IN SCREENSTEPS MP4In this row, MP4 (H.264, AAC) seems to be the most common format for video streaming on the Internet.
If it is not in the game, then yeah, it is even more harder. playthrough with this brand new episode titled, Preparing For The Pit Of 100 Trials. Another thing about this is that I do not think that there is any way for you to get mushrooms, stars, etc. Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Playthrough With Mega Mike. :) I wonder what the ending would be like. I guarantee that you will not beat it on your first try. :P If you are an expert at beating Super Mario World, then go ahead and try to beat this game. :P Super Mario World - The Pit of 100 Trials is a good one to make after playing Paper Mario - Thousand Year Door. I would recommend trying this game out if you think you can beat this game. I should not have said that because I have not gotten to half of 1-25 (close, but not half). o_O Another thing would be that there is no checkpoint in the game. :S I cannot pass the first level (even though you are suppose to pass 1-25 levels). Difficulty - 9 The only problem with this game is that the levels are extremely hard. I do not think that the original game of Super Mario World has 100 levels. That is basically it for this game. Second of all, it has so many levels, like I said lol. :) Depth - 10 This game has way too many levels first of all. I am not sure what happens when beating it, but I sure want to know what happens. Both were created to test the forces that guard the Pure Hearts. However, in this game there are two pits - one in Flopside and one in Flipside called the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. :P Story - 10 There is no story in this game, but it is basically Mario and/or Luigi that enter in the Pit of 100 Trials and try to beat it. The Flopside Pit of 100 Trials is a 100-room labyrinth in Super Paper Mario just like in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is very hard, but you would want to keep trying every other day. Addictiveness - 8 This game can sure be addicting once in a while cause you just feel like trying to beat the game. Basically all of the songs come from the original Super Mario World. It is not the same and it changes in most of the levels. I mean the graphics are VERY good, they look a lot better than the original Super Mario World. Graphics - 10 The graphics are very well-made and the sound is wonderful. It is a fun game to play, or should I say to try cause it is way too hard. I am really impressed to see how good the hacker can make on this game. I saw this and I thought of trying it out. Super Mario World - The Pit of 100 Trials Review by: Marcmoney - 8/10 Super Mario World - The Pit of 100 Trials Overall - 8 Super Mario World - The Pit of 100 Trials is a very good game to play. “It’s definitely up there at the top, and it was such a surprise.”Īt present, the identity of the photographer is unknown it doesn’t appear in the album. “I think this is the best donation we’ve gotten since I’ve been here,” said Rhine, who has worked at Pack since 1994. “They were ones I hadn’t seen before, and it was photo after photo. “I was shocked,” Zoe Rhine, North Carolina Collection librarian, said. Inside were the delicate, partly frayed pages of a photo album prepared in 1904, with a handwritten title: “Asheville: The Mountain City in the Land of the Sky, Illustrated.” The album contained 34 mostly crisp black and white pictures that were new to the library’s staff. But when it was opened, at Pack Memorial Library’s North Carolina Collection, local librarians’ jaws started dropping. To see more photos McCanless and his associates took in Asheville, visit this North Carolina Collection site and search for “McCanless” in the field marked “Creator.”ĪSHEVILLE - At first, the notebook-sized cardboard box that arrived in the mail was inconspicuous. Rhine said that one key to unraveling the mystery was a postcard published in 1906, which colorized one of McCanless’ photos of Pack Square from 1904 an original of the photo appears in the newly discovered photo album discussed and shown below. Surviving examples of his work indicate that he specialized in both intimate portraits and photos of large gatherings and Asheville-area landscapes. The photos, Rhine’s research indicated, were shot by James Melton McCanless, an Asheville photographer who kept studios on and near Pack Square from about 1890 to 1920. A May 7, 1904, newspaper ad for McCanless’s services. The higher I got, the more exaggerated the movement became. My arms ached but the adrenaline was pumping and I forced myself towards the second spreader, where I was able to take another break. I was going to be bounced all the way and I had to deal with it. I stopped climbing and held on for a while, hoping it would last only for a set of waves. Then the wind increased and the boat heeled over more.Įach impact with a wave jolted the mast, flicking me like a rag doll outwards and then back into the mast. It was starting to hurt and I was still swinging against the rig but I got into a rhythm for a while and was almost starting to feel good. I took a deep breath, put my weight on my feet and pushed up again another few inches. I looked around for big clouds or gusts heading my way. I reached the first spreader and sat on it to adjust my harness. The rope wasn’t deflecting too much, so I started up again. I told myself I was procrastinating, trying to find some excuse not to continue. I’d be hurting by the time I got to the deck, which would hardly inspire me to come back up again. I’d descended about a foot when I realised this was a stupid idea. But to tighten the rope, I needed to be on the deck. I thought I could do this by tightening the rope between the masthead and the deck so that I wouldn’t be swinging so much, if at all, with the motion. I was already bruised from being bumped against the rig and decided to make myself more secure before going any further. The motion, though still relatively stable, was enough to be jolting me around. I’d lost my footing a couple of times already. It took me 20 minutes to get to the first spreader. Pindar had three sets, spaced approximately 20, 40 and 60ft up the mast. Scaling the mast when Pindar was in dock took a few minutes, and not long at all to reach the first spreaders. If the boat’s motion became too unstable, the consequences didn’t bear thinking about. I was still uncomfortable with the thought of a big gust coming through while I was high up there. The tiniest bit of slack in the rope multiplied the potential for a hard climb, so I wound it down to the deck as hard as I could. If your platform is Pindar in choppy seas and gusting winds, it becomes a different proposition altogether. It sounds so simple, and on a steady platform with a taut rope, it is. Then I was able to release the pressure on the lower jammer by raising my feet, and move that up a few inches and so on. When I put my feet in them and stood up I was able to release the pressure on the seat jammer, move it up a few inches and sit back down. The foot straps were also attached to the rope with a one-way jammer. When I let go – and therefore exerted downward pressure by sitting in the seat – I could lift my feet from the ground and the seat was supported. The jammer gripped the rope when you exerted downward pressure on it. When I was ready, I climbed into the Topclimber, which was attached to the rope at waist height with a strap and a one-way jammer. This consisted of a little platform seat and two stirrup-like straps, with loops for my feet. The ascent would be via a length of rope stretched between the top of the mast and the deck, using a Topclimber. I put my video camera in my pocket, strapped on my helmet and psyched myself up. I took a knife to cut away the old dead end, the spare main halyard (240ft), some tape and a block in case the one at the top had been the cause of the halyard breaking. The wind was varying between 15 and 25 knots and I needed to make sure I had a sail setting to cover the range of winds while I was up there. I’d planned to go up at dawn, but I ended up waiting to allow some black clouds to blow through. They might as well have been a million miles away, I felt suddenly so isolated. Namibia lay 2,000 miles due east, Brazil 2,000 miles to the west. We were a fraction south of the Tropic of Capricorn and slap bang in the middle of the South Atlantic when the main halyard broke. Now, over to Emma… Extract from Around Alone Read it and, as I did, ask yourself how you might have measured up.įor a vivid glimpse into this race, have a look on YouTube for videos from the 2002 Around Alone. This extract from Emma’s Around Alone is by far the best description I have come across of the horrors of climbing a mast on a solo race boat. The skill and sheer guts lie outside the experience of the rest of us, relatively normal sailors. Sailing the Open 60 Pindar, she was pipped at the post for a podium finish, but reading her book 20 years later, I realised again that the placing is less important than the character of the men and women who take up the challenges of the great single-handed events. In 2002, Emma Richards (now Sanderson) was the youngest person and the first British woman to finish the ‘Around Alone’ race. |
